Nathan and Prof. McCain visited the 32nd Street School as guest speakers for the USC Wonderkids Program. We taught 6-8 year olds about the anatomy of the heart, and had the students measure their pulse before and after jumping jacks. We also taught them about 3-D printing and made "tissue engineered hearts" from beads and clay. Thanks to DJ Kast from the USC Joint Educational Project for making the connection!
